Tribute to Tania Hornberg
Opening Doors and Connecting Community would like to acknowledge the contribution of Tania Hornberg to this project. Tania supported and sustained the project from its conception to her untimely death in July 2020. Tania was a great advocate for people with a disability, an active member of the Charters Towers community and a positive role model. All members of the working group were privileged to work with Tania. Her insights and knowledge are missed by the group and the wider community.
Epilepsy Queensland obtained funding from National Disability Insurance Agency’s (NDIA) Information, Linkages and Capacity (ILC) Building Grants Program (Round 2) for this pilot program from 2018-2020.
The Local Community Working Group will be involved in updating the Directory.
